The above quote does not come from a yogic source or Advaita scripture but it shows how the knowledge of non-duality is present in other traditions. In this case the analogy comes from the Jewish Kabbalah teachings and is being used by modern druids. This is a great summation of the viewpoint of realization. When we are sitting in the illusion of seperation we see "John", "Susan", and "Michael" as seperate beings. If we step back from that vantage point we are able to see that, in reality, those labels are arbitrary. There is one consciousness which is not divided or divisible, one living essence, and that is Brahman.
